MR#5 “Lilo and Stitch”

Lilo and Nani who is Lilo’s older sister live on Kauai Island in Hawaii. Lilo is a naughty girl. Nani has difficulty dealing with Lilo. They don’t have their parents who died, so they lived together, only the two of them. But, Nani didn’t have a job. So, Cobra, who is a social woker, considered putting Lilo into foster care. Stitch was made by Jumba. Stitch’s real name is “Experiment 626.” “Experiment 626” and Jumba lived on a planet in space. One day, Jumba was arrested for making “Experiment 626” using illegal genetic experimentation. At that time, “Experiment 626” was also caught by the United Galactic federation. Stitch escaped in a small spaceship. The small spaceship crashed in Hawaii. Stitch encountered Lilo at the pet shop. Stitch became Lilo’s pet. His name, Stitch, was given to him by Lilo. At first, Stitch broke everything because he had big powers of destruction. But, he changed after he met Lilo. After the encounter, Stitch had the heart of consideration for others. On Stitch’s birth planet, they would dispose Stitch. But, Stitch was able to live with Lilo. This is because the planet leader decided there were two points. Stitch changed his character, and Lilo was unwilling to have Stitch go back to his planet.
Lilo went to a hula dance school, and there were some pupils who were learning with Lilo. But she wasn’t good at human relations. Her school members like to play dolls, Lilo had a doll which she made herself, but it’s too strange. So, she was left out. Stitch had a bad character, but he became good. I think the good Stitch is very cute. Nani is Lilo’s older sister. She wrestled with everything with every effort, but she went round in circles trying to do everything. I also go round in circles some times. So, I sympathize with her.
It is the first time for me to watch the movie. I thought that this was a pretty movie. But, the movie is very funny. I laughed. I didn’t think that Stitch had a very bad character.

MR#4 "Romeo and Juliet"

One day, Romeo met Juliet at a party. Romeo loved another girl before he met Juliet. But Romeo fell in love with Juliet at first sight. They married in secret. After a while, Romeo and his friends met the people from the House of Capulet, and Mercutio, who was a friend of Romeo, was killed by Tybalt. So, Romeo murdered Tybalt who was a cousin of Juliet. Romeo was banished. Juliet cried over that fact. At the same time, Juliet was ordered to marry Count Paris. Juliet consulted Laurence, and got a plan used a drug to create a death-like coma. Juliet wrote to Romeo about this plan, but the letter didn’t reach him. So, Romeo mistakenly thought Juliet was dead, and Drunk a poison. While Juliet awake, she saw Romeo. Juliet committed suicide by Romeo’s gun. Their parents knew their death, and reconciled.
Romeo is capricious. They fell in love at first sight, and they died for love. Even thought they were young, I couldn’t do the same thing. I can’t commit suicide for love. Surely, I will grieve and cry if the person who I love died. But I will not kill myself. Juliet chose the way to die. I think she was foolish. I can’t understand the parents of Romeo and Juliet. I can’t know why they detested each other so much. I think that it is good without feelings of hatred to another human being.
This story is very famous. But, I watched this movie at first in a class of English literature the last year. I haven’t known that Romeo loved another girl. I was very surprised by this fact. I thought Romeo and Juliet may be 18 years old before I saw this movie. But, Romeo was 16 yeas old, and Juliet was 13 years old. In those days, it was natural that the girls and boys who were about 14 years old to get married. I think that the young people can decide the future themselves.

MR#3 "Brassed Off"

This movie was a story on a town of coal miners. This town’s name is Grimley. Gloria, who lived in the town when she was young came back to the town. She had a flugelhorn. She took the advice of the owner of her rooming house to play with the local brass band called the Grimley Colliery Band. She performed with wonderful skill in front of the band members, and she became one of the band members. All the band members expect Gloria were men, and they worked at the coal mine. First, they didn’t know Gloria’s work office, so they were getting along very nicely. But, one day, they noticed that she worked for the management company. Their hearts were broken. Meanwhile, Danny who was the conductor of the band suffered pneumoconiosis, a desease from working in the coal mind, and went into a hospital. It decided to close the coal mine. So, all the band members gave up the final of the national brass band competition. But, Gloria encouraged band members and helped them go to the competition. The performance was a success, but their coal mine was closed when they came back their town.
There is not one main character in this movie. All members of the band are main characters. There are some love scenes between Alan and Gloria, but this main story is about coal miners. I think the miners were poor people. Alan is the youngest man in the band. Gloria is only woman player in the band. And, she worked at the management company whereas the other band members worked in the coal mine. Danny is the conductor of the band, and he is Phil’s father. Phil is also a band member. He played trombone. Everyone lived with all their might.
In this movie, this story isn’t fiction. Hundreds of thousands of miners were discharged in fact. I think this fact was very sad. Now, I can live very comfortable, but there were the pains of the person at the bottom of the convenient life.

MR#2 "Ratatouille"

Remy is a rat. He likes food, and is particular about food. He and his group of rats lived in an old lady’s house. But, one day, they were discovered living in her house, so, they escaped from her attack. During their escape, Remy strayed. In the meantime, Linguini visited the Gusteau’s restaurant. Gusteau was a very popular chef in Paris, but he was dead. Linguini started to work the restaurant. Actually, he wasn’t a good chef. One day, Remy and Linguini met at Gusteau’s restaurant. At first, Linguini was ordered to throw Remy in the river by his boss. But, Linguini decided to cooperate with Remy and live together after he knew Remy’s talent. After a while, Linguini and chefs of Gusteau’s restaurant saw the fact that Linguini was the successor of Gusteau’s restaurant by Renata who is Linguini’s mother. Then, Skinner who was the head chef after Gusteau was dead, left the restaurant. However Remy’s dish satisfied Anton Ego who is a cooking commentator, but the fact that there was rat in the restaurant was discovered by Skinner and the restaurant was closed. But, Remy and Linguini opened the new restaurant with Ego’s help.
Linguini is very untidy man. So, I don’t like him. But, he worked hard in his own good pace. Remy is a grateful rat! Because he has a sharp sense of smell, and he can discriminate good food from bad. Gusteau Anton Ego is a cooking commentator. He speaks ill of the ideal of Gusteau. But, he understood the Gusteau’s ideal at last.
My favorite scene is that Anton Ego changed his mind for Remy’s dish. And besides, he assisted Remy and Linguini in opening a new restaurant. I want to become the human being who can change the heart of the person to a good direction.

MR#1 High School Musical

First, I’ll introduce the story of this movie. One day, Troy and Gabriella met in a party. They were made to sing together. At first, they were unwilling. But, while they sang, they enjoyed singing with each other. They exchanged their mobile number. After the winter vacation, she transferred to East High School which he was registered and they met again. Troy is a boy loving basketball, and Gabriella is a girl who is interested in studying before they sang together at that night. They become interested singing, and took part in an audition which is for the musical at the school. But, Troy had a basketball game near at hand, and Gabriella had a science contest as well. Once, they gave up, but they got the major roles with their friend’s help.
Next, I think the couple Troy and Gabriella are a very nice couple. They were separated by their friends, but they believed in each other and they were together again. I thought that the power of believing is wonderful. All of casts’ dances and songs were very cool. But, I think that it was so hard to make this movie. Gabriella’s singing voice is very beautiful, and I like it.
In this movie, there are many bonds. For example, it’s about friends or steady relationships or sometimes brothers. I want to be back in high school days while I watched this movie.
